The Making of a Piano Album: “Jaguar Love Letter”
In late August of 2021 I recorded my piano album “Jaguar Love Letter” at a recording studio in Berkeley, CA. We nearly finished in one day, and fortunately my wife Charr documented the day on her iPhone. This little video is the result!
Follow along for a behind-the-scenes view of what it’s like recording a piano album. Also featured are snippets of numerous pieces from the album as I recorded them that day: “Childhood Memories,” “Life’s Great Mysteries,” “Our Little Secret,” “Koala Bear Shimmy,” and “If I Only Knew Then What I Know Now.” The opening and closing music are from the album’s title track, “Jaguar Love Letter.”
