Music at Noon, Feb 3, 2016 – Sacramento, CA
By all accounts, last month’s Music at Noon show in Sacramento was a big success:
the audience cheered, the show host, Brad, seemed very happy (He actually said
our show was “the most diverse” show he had ever had there!), and I pulled off
three challenging classical pieces as well as doing a bunch of original music
and even some standards, joined by singer Danielle Wachowski and flutist
“Sing Joyfully for Christmas” is an original holiday carol I wrote a few months ago. I conceived of this as a straight-forward, fun, classic Christmas carol. In this recording, I sing it solo at the piano… yet I wrote the music for at least two voices, imagining a choir singing it. Maybe some day one will!
Here is the music video for my new track “Flower Child,” which we created by putting together footage of friends and family. Thank you to everyone who participated in making this video happen.

This is the new recording of my Christmas song “Something Has Happened to Me
(Maybe It’s Christmas).” I wrote this good feeling number back in 2008, but I
knew that I wanted to redo it when the time came. I determined to get it done
for this Christmas, but it wasn’t easy. I suppose after waiting six years, I
felt the pressure to make the recording as great as possible. When I heard this
version a few nights ago I was ecstatic. To me, this version captures the fun,
family spirit of the song… I hope it warms your heart and brightens your
Holiday Season. Continue reading
My brother Jonas and I are both songwriters. A couple of months ago we performed some of our songs for an outdoor party at a friend’s house. Included here are several unreleased songs of mine that you probably have never heard before:
The song clips on this video are from:
“My Thing of Beauty” is new love song I wrote. Though I wrote this originally for my wife, I think it speaks to the need for us to recognize the beauty and worth of each other, and how in a great loving relationship we can be that for each other. It also speaks to my inner romantic, and the desire to let my woman know what she means to me. The theme of this song reminds me of songs such as Billy Joel’s “Just the Way You Are” and Bruno Mars’ song of the same name.
Because sometimes you need a reminder of how wonderful you are…
As always, thank you for watching my videos and listening to my music. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I enjoyed writing it: Continue reading
Sometimes there seems to be a magic in life where things just coalesce in amazing and beautiful ways. That is what happened with “You Are Loved,” my song that started as a piano piece and that now is a music video.
This song was conceived as a piano piece several years ago one (it is one of Continue reading
Last month my brother, Jonas Goslow, performed with me onstage for an event in Rocklin, Ca. This was significant because although we are both professional performers and ALWAYS play music at home when we get together, we had NEVER performed together onstage since grade school (!) (That is, with the exception of some impromptu performances we did while traveling in South Africa, England, and Ireland in 2011).

A couple of weeks ago I debuted a new song dedicated to my wife. I was at a voice recital put on by my voice teacher Larisa Bryski, and I surprised my wife with this love song right in front of everyone gathered at the Shine Cafe in Sacramento, CA. My wife had no idea what was coming, had never heard the song, didn’t know I wrote it much less was planning to present it… and fortunately, without me even asking her to, she got out her phone and filmed this recording (before she even knew what it was!). I also happened to record the audio of my performance, which I spliced together to share with you here so you can share in this moment of loving trickery.
Several years back I first met Allan Samson aka “The Next Level” at Chabot College in Hayward, CA. We hit it off right away, Continue reading
